Summer 2025 has arrived, and as I write this I’m fresh off a quick getaway with the hubby from the Maldives. I know! Shocking! But post Covid, I swore off ever going back because of the total feel of total isolation from being stranded on one of the islands & that feeling of not being able to leave. Fast forward-ish to this year, Eid holiday & a whole lotta points being earned by the hubby & we made it to the JW Marriot, a 20 minute ride from the capital Male (yes! No island fever ever again)- & just being on this tiny island that was literally opened in January of this year & it’s a match made in heaven!
