I’ve realized that in my 43 years on this planet, there’s a lot that I’ve tried to prioritize for my well being! My self-care routine, I spoke about it in my January newsletter and I have made it a point to make sure I do it as much as I can every month.
For instance, my Varicose veins. It’s genetic, I’ve had one naughty one since my 20s but since I started lifting heavier, it got triggered and has been really bothering me so in June, I went to AMH to see Dr Khanemaneh & we got them removed. It’s been great except for obviously wearing the compression socks from my foot to my upper thigh during the month of June in Bahrain which wasn’t the best idea honestly. I got phantom aches initially when the socks came off 9 days later and now, two months later, it’s been AMAZING! Highly recommend! But do it when the weather is cooler would be my advice!
